Today we worked on learning about the Spanish American War, using similes to describe changing U.S. foreign policy from isolation, to expansionism, to imperialism.
During expansionism, the Spain was like a virus because the Spanish were
moving and spreading throughout Cuba. ____
- During Imperialism, industrialism was as cruel as a shark because big industry was trying to eliminate smaller organizations to gain more money and popularity.___________
